Milan, 29 Oct. (LaPresse) – “I was deeply moved to learn that a Russian jet-powered drone crashed into the railway station in Dnipro, causing a very heavy death toll. I offer my condolences and our solidarity to President Volodymyr Zelensky and the Ukrainian people. In this context, we must aim for much more than a localised ceasefire such as the one just negotiated in Oleshky. It is intolerable that Russia continues to reject all proposals to this effect, pursuing escalation and targeting civilians.” French President Emmanuel Macron wrote this on X. “Together, we must redouble our efforts to achieve a just and lasting peace and bring Russia to the negotiating table,” he concluded.
