Rome, 6 Oct. (LaPresse) – Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez has announced that the Council of Ministers has approved two new decree-laws to tackle the housing crisis, after the previous two decrees were rejected by the Congress of Deputies last week. “These are measures based on common sense and humanity”, “which increase supply, provide stability and peace of mind for small landlords and tenants”, “protect vulnerable people” and tackle “speculative funds”, said Sánchez at a press conference at Moncloa. The measures, which “retain the essence of the two previous decrees”, he added, “bring order to a market that is currently dysfunctional and does not follow the logic of supply and demand due to speculation”.
