Biden on Labor Day: “The country works thanks to its workers.”

And unions have built the middle class,” the former president said in a post accompanied by a photo of himself visiting Uaw union workers on strike in Detroit. “To every worker who has ever clocked in, worked a double shift, or walked the assembly line for a fair wage, and to everyone who fought for them, at the negotiating table, in parliament, or in the factory: thank you. This country works largely because of you,” writes the former Democratic president.
