In Kyiv, explosions began shortly before 11 p.m. local time, as air defense units were engaged in repelling Russian drones heading toward the capital. Mayor Vitali Klitschko urged residents to remain in shelters. The air raid alert was also activated in cities far from the front, including Ternopil, in western Ukraine. A new series of explosions was reported in Kyiv around 12:38 a.m., following warnings from the Air Force about the arrival of Russian jet-powered drones. In the Odesa region, the attack damaged 20 apartments, from the tenth to the seventeenth floor of a residential building, and 12 cars parked nearby.
