Kathmandu (Nepal), 2 Sept. (LaPresse/AP) – The death toll from the floods that struck the border between Nepal and Tibet a week ago has risen to 1,118, whilst 3,900 people remain missing. The Nepalese Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated that 324 foreign nationals have been rescued so far, whilst around 590 people from 39 countries are still missing. China has separately reported 16 deaths and 546 people missing to date.
