This was reported by German media outlets NDR, WDR, and Süddeutsche Zeitung, which state that security authorities have several individuals with ties to Moscow in their sights. Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt stated that the evidence gathered by the authorities indicates “individuals involved who acted on behalf of Russian state agencies.” He added that the attack bears the hallmarks of the “well-known pattern of Russian hybrid operations in Europe.” According to reports by NDR, WDR, and Süddeutsche Zeitung, the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) has reportedly managed to identify several suspects.
