The Nepalese Emergency Management Agency has reported that 903 people have died, whilst 4,247 are missing, including 592 foreigners. “We are working to search for and rescue people stranded in the hills, settlements and river areas,” said Brigadier General Raja Ram Basnet, spokesperson for the Nepalese Army.
