Turin, 31 August (LaPresse) – Iran “is not seeking war” but “will never stand idly by in the face of any aggression”. This was stated by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian before leaving for Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, where he is due to attend the summit of heads of state of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, in relation to the US attack on the island of Larak. “Iran will respond decisively to the aggressors,” added Pezeshkian, according to the Fars news agency. “Instability and unrest in the region are not in the interests of any country and will pose a challenge for everyone.”
