Washington (USA), 28 August. (LaPresse) – A federal judge has again rejected Donald Trump’s attempt to overturn his New York conviction for undeclared payments to porn actress Stormy Daniels. Judge Alvin K. Hellerstein rejected the president’s third request to transfer the case from New York state court to federal court and have it dismissed by invoking presidential immunity. Hellerstein said in the ruling that Trump’s reasons for renewing the request were “neither new nor legally sufficient.” Trump was convicted of 34 counts of falsifying business records in connection with a $130,000 payment to Daniels to cover up an alleged extramarital affair.
