Police reported this, as rescuers are engaged in the search for hundreds of people still missing in the area along the border between Nepal and China. The previous death toll was 390 victims in Nepal and three in Tibet. Last Wednesday, authorities had also reported more than 1,400 people missing in both areas affected by the disaster. Hundreds of people have already been rescued, Nepalese authorities said, and dozens are receiving medical treatment in the capital, Kathmandu.
