This week, our European allies have taken important decisions to strengthen Ukraine’s air defences.” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wrote this on X. “ “It is vital that these are supplemented by further ballistic missile defence packages, first and foremost through the Purl system,” he explained. “Anything that strengthens the protection of our skies tangibly saves the lives of many Ukrainians every day. To dampen Russia’s will to continue fighting, we must effectively neutralise the missiles to which Moscow clings so fiercely to prolong the war,” he added.
