Through the support loan to Ukraine, the EU has already disbursed €8.47 billion to support defence, with further aid, including for air defence, in the pipeline. This autumn, I will propose tougher sanctions against Russia, and we are further tightening the noose around Russia’s shadow fleet to deprive Moscow of the resources needed to finance the war.
