(LaPresse) – According to Israeli security sources cited by *The Times of Israel*, clashes broke out between settlers and Israeli security forces during the evacuation of an illegal outpost in Area B of the West Bank, which is under Palestinian civil control. The incident took place near the Palestinian village of Deir Istiya, south of Nablus. In an attempt to halt the evacuation, the settlers blocked a road and threw stones at Israeli security forces, according to the sources. Four suspects were detained and taken to a police station for further questioning, and the troops also confiscated a tractor and some sheep. The evacuation of the outpost was carried out following an order signed by the commander of the Israeli Defence Forces’ Central Command, Major General Avi Bluth.
