The attacks took place in the southern region of Najran, near the border with Yemen. Turki al-Malki, a spokesperson for the Saudi army, stated that the attack injured seven Saudi citizens, one Yemeni, two Egyptians and one Pakistani. The Houthis have not issued any statement. “The Houthi terrorist militia carried out these terrorist attacks by resorting to indiscriminate shelling of civilian targets, which constitutes a flagrant violation of customary international humanitarian law through the deliberate targeting of civilians and civilian objects,” al-Malki wrote in a post on X.
