Milan, Aug. 6 (LaPresse) – Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi denied to state media that Iran is currently negotiating with the United States regarding the waterway, stating that its talks with Oman are strictly bilateral. CNN reported this. Gharibabadi explained that negotiations between Iran and Oman on reopening the strait have continued for more than three weeks and have led to a broad agreement on the proposed maritime routes for incoming and outgoing traffic.
