Baghaei added that the talks are bilateral and stated that the issue of discussions aimed at reaching a “mechanism to safeguard our interests is not new and has been ongoing for some time”. “The Islamic Republic of Iran acts in accordance with the country’s interests and concerns and will not change its decisions under the influence of threats and intimidation from others,” he said.
