Migrants, US: “Spain has made deliberate efforts to encourage illegal immigration”

Rome, July 31 (LaPresse) – “The United States stands with the Spanish people and all Europeans against this flagrant violation of their sovereignty and human rights. This unacceptable incident is the direct consequence of the deliberate efforts of the Spanish government aimed at encouraging and facilitating mass illegal immigration into Europe.” The U.S. State Department wrote this in a strongly worded post on X regarding what is happening in the Spanish exclave of Ceuta. “We are evaluating actions to defend American citizens, both at home and abroad, from this threat and we are ready to assist other European allies who are considering similar options,” it added.
