According to reports, negotiations between Iran and Oman on the waterway took place on Friday and Saturday. “There have been fruitful discussions on how to manage navigation in the Strait of Hormuz,” said Baghaei. “The situation in the Strait of Hormuz has not changed; it remains closed and these negotiations have nothing to do with the United States,” he clarified.
