Iran, Araghchi: “Trump’s threat regarding assets sets a dangerous precedent”

Rome, 24 July (LaPresse) – “Seizing another nation’s assets to settle unrelated future claims sets a dangerous precedent,” said Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi. “Those who instigate or profit from such funds should bear in mind,” he added, “that once governments normalise confiscation, no one’s assets are safe. The chaos that will ensue will be neither pleasant nor peaceful.”
