Milan, 22 July (LaPresse) – US President Donald Trump would like FIFA President Gianni Infantino to be the next Secretary-General of the United Nations. This was reported by the New York Post. Trump believes that Infantino “is respected by everyone around the world and recognises that he has a special ability to bring people together”, a source close to the president told the NYP. The next Secretary-General will be elected this year to replace Portugal’s António Guterres, who is due to step down at the end of December.
