Iran: Kuwait, oil facility hit in Tehran raid; damage and injuries reported

Frankfurt (Germany), 18 July (LaPresse) – Kuwait has reported that a major oil facility has been struck by an Iranian attack. The Kuwait Petroleum Corporation stated that “one of the oil sector’s vital sites has been the target of repeated and brutal Iranian attacks, which have resulted in several injuries and extensive material damage”. “Medical assistance has been provided to the injured and the site has been evacuated, whilst the response to the attack is being managed in coordination with the relevant state authorities,” the statement read, according to the national news agency Kuna, as reported by Al Jazeera.
