Turin, 14 July (LaPresse) – Russia regards the resumption of US attacks against Iran as a violation of the memorandum of understanding signed between Tehran and Washington. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at a press conference following talks with the Chadian Foreign Minister. TASS reports this. “We regard the renewed military aggression against Iran as a breach of the memorandum, and there is not much else to add. It is an unfortunate development, because both civilian infrastructure in Iran and that in the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council are affected. None of this will lead to anything good,” he said. “It does not lead to a solution. It closes the door that the memorandum of understanding seemed to have opened,” Lavrov observed.
