Brussels, 14 July (LaPresse) – “We have verified the nationalities of those missing by checking the names in our possession, and there are no Italians amongst them.” This was stated by Valentina Marocchi, the Labour Prosecutor in Brussels, speaking to journalists outside the Oxy complex in the city centre, where a fire broke out today. As for the six bodies recovered, “we have confirmed the identities of three people, but their families must be contacted and informed, so we cannot say anything more about the victims at this stage,” she emphasised. Meanwhile, operations have begun on lift number two. “We hope they manage to open it and that there is no one inside,” the prosecutor added.
