Milan, June 13. (LaPresse) – Iran’s Revolutionary Guards, the so-called Pasdaran, have denied that the Iran-US agreement will be signed on Sunday and criticized what they call an “unusual insistence” by US President Donald Trump on signing tomorrow. In a statement relaunched by CNN, the Pasdaran said Trump’s announcement of a signing scheduled for Sunday comes “despite Iranian negotiators explicitly stating that the memorandum has not yet been finalized and that the signing on Sunday will certainly not take place.” The Revolutionary Guard suggests that Trump wanted to schedule the signing to coincide with his birthday, June 14. “Some observers believe his insistence may be motivated by a desire to symbolically exploit the occasion and transform it into a personal publicity event,” the statement read.
