Brussels, 10 June (LaPresse) – The European Commission is proposing to increase the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) agricultural reserve by €300 million, in terms of both commitments and payments, to provide targeted and exceptional support to farmers facing serious cash-flow problems, particularly due to the rising cost of fertilisers. This is set out in an amendment to the 2026 budget published yesterday by the European Commission.
