Milan, June 9 (LaPresse) – “Foreign forces present near our territory are constantly at risk due to human error, simple accidents or the possibility of being caught in crossfire. To reduce the risk, the best solution is for them to leave. We prefer the language of diplomacy, but we also know how to use other languages.” This was written on X by Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi, whose remarks come after the case of the US Apache helicopter that crashed near the Strait of Hormuz, which according to Donald Trump was shot down by Iran. “The Strait of Hormuz is not in international waters, but is shared between Iran and Oman and is located thousands of kilometres from the coasts of the United States. Maritime borders are very clear,” Araghchi specified. “Our powerful armed forces are constantly on alert for any violation of Iran’s airspace, territory or waters,” the head of Iranian diplomacy continued. And further: “To reduce risk, the best solution is for foreign forces to leave as soon as possible an environment that will never be hospitable to a hostile presence.” Araghchi then concluded: “Iran prefers the language of diplomacy. However, as our brave warriors have shown the world, we also know how to speak other languages.”
