US: Media reports suggest Pentagon raises alert level over Israeli espionage

At the Pentagon – it is explained – there are internal concerns that Israel is making particular efforts to monitor senior US officials in order to obtain information on the Trump administration’s internal deliberations and decision-making regarding the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East, the officials said.
