Milan, 20 May (LaPresse) – Israeli Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir has responded to Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar, who criticised him over a video in which he is seen mocking activists from the Global Sumud Flotilla who were intercepted between yesterday and Monday whilst sailing towards Gaza. ‘There are some members of the government who have not yet understood how one should deal with those who support terrorism,’ Gvir wrote in a post on X, ‘the Israeli Foreign Minister is expected to understand that Israel is no longer an easy target. Anyone who enters our territory to support terrorism and side with Hamas will be dealt a heavy blow, and we will not turn the other cheek.’
