Ukraine is seeking peace and is making the necessary diplomatic efforts to end this war once and for all. We will clarify exactly what this entails: a few hours of security for a parade in Moscow, or something more.” So said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on X. The leader emphasised that Kyiv’s proposal is “a long-term ceasefire, reliable and guaranteed security for the population, and lasting peace”. “Ukraine is ready to commit to this in any dignified and effective context,” he added.
