Milan, 27 Apr. (LaPresse) – From today, lawyers of the defendants, and subsequently those of the victims’ families, will be able to view the surveillance camera footage from the Le Constellation bar in Crans-Montana on New Year’s Eve night, when 41 people died in a fire. The footage comes from fourteen security cameras, in addition to police footage, some of which show bodies. The families, those who wish, will be able to view the images starting Thursday, as reported by the Swiss newspaper Le Matin Dimanche. Security measures will be adopted to prevent these images, which prosecutors describe as “highly sensitive”, from being released to the media. During the viewing, only handwritten notes will be allowed.
