Iran: Xi meets Emirati Prince bin Zayed in China, presents four-point peace plan

Milan, 14 Apr. (LaPresse) – Chinese President Xi Jinping met in Beijing with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is currently visiting China. This was reported by the Chinese state news agency Xinhua, which specified that the meeting took place in the Great Hall of the People and that Xi presented the Emirati prince with a four-point plan for peace and stability in the Middle East. According to Xinhua, the four points of the plan are: upholding the principle of peaceful coexistence among Gulf states; upholding the principle of national sovereignty; upholding the principle of the rule of international law to prevent ‘the world from reverting to the law of the jungle’; and upholding the principle of coordination between development and security.
