Iran: Government buildings and energy infrastructure in Kuwait hit

Milan, 5 Apr. (LaPresse) – Several attacks took place against Kuwait overnight. Al-Jazeera reports this, citing statements from local authorities, according to which two energy production and water desalination plants were attacked by drones. The attacks, Al-Jazeera reports, are said to have caused ‘significant damage’. In another attack, as stated by the Kuwaiti Ministry of Finance, the Ministry’s complex in Kuwait City, the country’s capital, was targeted by an Iranian drone, causing ‘extensive damage’. Finally, the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation reported that a fire broke out at the Shuwaikh oil complex, also following a drone attack.
