Maduro and his wife appear in court in New York

Washington (USA), 26 March (LaPresse) – Former Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores are returning to court in New York this morning to face charges of narco-terrorism and arms trafficking. From 11am (4pm in Italy), the defence and prosecution will discuss the evidence and the timetable for the proceedings. The trial date may be set at this hearing. This is the second time Maduro and his wife have appeared in court in Lower Manhattan since the hearing in January, following their capture in Caracas by US forces, at which they pleaded not guilty.
