Iran, London condemns Tehran’s “reckless” attacks: “Threat to us and allies”

London, Mar 21 (LaPresse) – The UK Ministry of Defence has criticized the Iranian attacks, calling them “a threat to British interests” following reports of the launch of two ballistic missiles against a UK-US military base on Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean. “Iran’s reckless attacks, extending across the region and holding the Strait of Hormuz hostage, pose a threat to British interests and the UK’s allies,” a spokesperson said, according to Sky News. “RAF jets and other British military assets continue to protect our personnel and troops in the region. This government has authorized the United States to use UK bases for specific, limited defensive operations,” added the spokesperson from the UK Ministry of Defence.
