Rome, 14 March (LaPresse) – Iran’s state-run Fars News Agency reports that the police have arrested 54 supporters of Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi over the past 72 hours, adding that they were allegedly planning uprisings in the country. According to reports, eleven individuals belonging to what is described as the ‘monarchist faction’ were ‘neutralised’ during the operations. The authorities are also said to have arrested two other suspects accused of spying on behalf of Israel and the United States and of photographing ‘sensitive sites’.
