Iran, Centcom: ‘Four crew members killed in US tanker plane crash in Iraq’

Dubai (United Arab Emirates), 13 March (LaPresse/AP) – Four of the six crew members aboard a US KC-135 military tanker aircraft that crashed in western Iraq have been found dead. This was announced in a statement by the US Central Command (Centcom). ‘Four of the six crew members aboard the aircraft have been confirmed dead, while rescue operations continue,’ the statement said. ‘The circumstances of the accident are under investigation. However, the loss of the aircraft was not caused by hostile fire or friendly fire,’ the US command said.
