Iran: Tajani, no Italian soldiers wounded in attacks on bases in the Gulf

Rome, 28 February (LaPresse) – ‘The first piece of positive news is that no Italians were involved in the multiple attacks that took place in Iran and other countries in the Gulf area. Even the air force personnel stationed at the base in Kuwait, which was attacked with missiles from Iran, are all unharmed, as they were all in the bunker.’ This was stated by Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani during a press conference at the Farnesina after the US and Israeli attack on Iran and Tehran’s response. ‘There has been extensive damage to the runway, but no Italian military personnel have been injured and no Italians are involved in any military action,’ he added.
