USA, Hillary Clinton: ‘Trump administration covered up documents on Epstein’

Milan, 17 February (LaPresse) – Hillary Clinton has accused the administration of US President Donald Trump of ‘covering up’ the affair relating to the handling of files concerning the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. ‘Bring out the files. They’re stalling,’ Clinton told the BBC in Berlin, where she attended the annual World Forum. The Clintons are due to appear before a congressional committee to testify about their relationship with the financier. Bill Clinton will appear on 27 February, while Hillary Clinton will appear the day before. The Clintons have requested that the congressional committee hearing be held in public rather than behind closed doors. ‘We will appear, but we think it would be better to do so in public,’ said the former presidential candidate, ‘we have nothing to hide. We have repeatedly called for the full release of these files. We believe that sunlight is the best disinfectant.’
