Iran, Tehran: ‘Ready to dilute uranium with lifting of all sanctions’

Turin, 9 February (LaPresse) – Tehran could consider diluting 60% enriched uranium if all sanctions were lifted. This was stated by Mohammad Eslami, head of the Atomic Energy Organisation of Iran, quoted by the Mehr agency. Eslami said that both technical and nuclear issues and political issues are being discussed in the talks between Iran and the United States. Relations between Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) are ongoing, he said. Eslami stressed that Iran’s rights under IAEA regulations must be respected, adding that the agency has a duty to encourage and support the peaceful use of nuclear technology for Iran and all nations.
