Greenland: Trump, agreement provides for full US access to island

Davos (Switzerland), 22 January (LaPresse/AP) – ‘We will have full access to Greenland,’ said US President Donald Trump in an interview with Maria Bartiromo on Fox Business, ‘we will have all the military access we want.’ Trump said that the agreement, if completed, would also allow the United States to install part of its Golden Dome, part of a multi-billion dollar missile defence system, on Danish territory. ‘Essentially, it’s total access,’ he added, ‘there’s no end, there’s no time limit.’
