Air Force One with Trump bound for Davos returns due to electrical problem

Washington (USA), 21 January (LaPresse/AP) – Air Force One, carrying US President Donald Trump to Davos, Switzerland, returned to Joint Base Andrews about an hour after take-off due to “a minor electrical issue”. White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt reported that the decision was made after take-off as a precautionary measure. The plane landed safely on its return. A journalist on board reported that the lights in the press cabin went out briefly after take-off, but no immediate explanation was given, and about half an hour after take-off, journalists were informed that the plane would be returning. Trump will board another plane and continue his journey to the World Economic Forum in Davos.
