Middle East, EU: ‘Invited to join the Board of Peace for Gaza’

Brussels, 19 January (LaPresse) – ‘We have received an invitation’ from the United States to join the US Board of Peace for Gaza ‘and we greatly appreciate it,’ “the president is in close contact with all European leaders on all geopolitical issues. We appreciate this invitation and share the goal of achieving peace. Furthermore, we are in close contact with our partners on this issue, more specifically with regard to the contribution that the EU could make in this context. We have unique expertise and a range of multidimensional tools that respond to the multidimensional needs in the context of the situation in Gaza. We are ready to use all the tools at our disposal in terms of security, diplomatic and humanitarian issues, with regard to security matters.”
