Milan, 14 January (LaPresse) – The United States is ready to announce today the transition to the second phase of its peace plan for Gaza and the formation of a Palestinian technocratic committee to oversee the enclave in the immediate future. This was reported by the Wall Street Journal. The second phase is expected to include the disarmament of Hamas, the completion of Israel’s withdrawal from Gaza, the reconstruction of the Strip and the establishment of various transitional bodies to manage the enclave before it is handed over to a reformed Palestinian National Authority.
