Iran, son of the Shah: ‘We have a plan for a free country’

Milan, 13 January (LaPresse) – “We already have a plan, there will be no vacuum. We have been preparing for this moment for years. Our Iran Prosperity Project has detailed guidelines. The first phase we will tackle is the emergency, to ensure continuity of services and security in the first 180 days. Then comes the stabilisation phase: getting the country functioning, ensuring essential services, restoring economic confidence and maintaining basic governance. This will be followed by a constitutional process and national elections.‘ Reza Pahlavi said this in an interview with Corriere della Sera. The Iran Prosperity Project is ’a project that I lead and that provides a roadmap for Iran’s economic recovery and reintegration into the international community. We already have over a hundred experts inside and outside the country’. “The goal is not just to survive the transition. It is to unlock our true potential. A free Iran can be prosperous: a country that trades with the world, attracts investment, creates jobs and gives its young people a future, instead of driving them away,” he says.
