Crans-Montana, Tajani: “Seeking the truth is a duty towards victims and families”

Rome, Jan. 13 (LaPresse) – “Seeking the truth is a duty towards the victims and their families, to whom we are ready to provide all necessary assistance to ensure that justice is served. The pain remains alive, but the memory of the victims guides us,” said Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani during a briefing to the Senate. “It is a commitment we will monitor every day. Not only out of a rightful sense of justice, but also to ensure that similar tragedies never happen again. Anywhere. Never again,” he added.
“The tragedy in Crans-Montana is an open wound for the entire national community. For this reason, I immediately went to the site on the morning of January 2 to be close to the families and to convey the support of the Government and all institutions,” explained the head of the Foreign Ministry, who stressed: “It is right that Italy requests to participate as a civil party in the trial, because this is a wound inflicted on the entire country.”
