The pain remains alive, but the memory of the victims guides us,” said Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani during a briefing to the Senate. “It is a commitment we will monitor every day. Not only out of a rightful sense of justice, but also to ensure that similar tragedies never happen again. Anywhere. Never again,” he added.
“The tragedy in Crans-Montana is an open wound for the entire national community. For this reason, I immediately went to the site on the morning of January 2 to be close to the families and to convey the support of the Government and all institutions,” explained the head of the Foreign Ministry, who stressed: “It is right that Italy requests to participate as a civil party in the trial, because this is a wound inflicted on the entire country.”
