Milan, 9 January (LaPresse) – Jessica Moretti, co-owner of Le Constellation in Crans-Montana, will have to wear an electronic tag and report to the police every three days, measures that have yet to be confirmed by the court. This was reported by the Swiss newspaper 24 heures, citing its own sources. Her husband Jacques Moretti, also a co-owner of the club, was arrested at the end of today’s interrogation for what prosecutor Béatrice Pilloud described as a “real risk of flight”. Jessica Moretti’s lawyers, Yaël Hayat and Nicola Meier, told French broadcaster Bfmtv that “the public prosecutor considered that there was a risk of her absconding, but that this risk could be countered by alternative measures”. Bfmtv writes that these alternative measures are the obligation to wear an electronic tag, a ban on leaving the country, regular checks by the police, the payment of a bail bond and the deposit of identity documents. ‘All the required guarantees will be presented to show that neither of them intends to evade the proceedings,’ the lawyers added, according to the broadcaster.
