Turin, 29 December (LaPresse) – With Zelensky, ‘we had a fantastic meeting’ and ‘I think we are very, very close to a solution.’ This was stated by US President Donald Trump after the meeting in Mar-a-Lago. ‘We discussed many things. We have made a lot of progress in ending that war,’ and ‘we had a good conversation’ with European leaders, added the Washington leader. There are still some ‘very thorny issues’ that remain unresolved for the peace agreement in Ukraine. Regarding the agreement on a free trade zone in Donbass, the issue is still ‘unresolved, but we are getting very close,’ Donald Trump pointed out. ‘It’s a very difficult issue, but I think we will resolve it,’ he added. The White House chief left open the possibility of travelling to Ukraine and speaking to the country’s parliament.
