Nigeria, Hegseth: ‘Trump was clear: no more killings of innocent Christians’

The War Department is always ready, as ISIS discovered tonight, right on Christmas Day.’ So said Pentagon spokesman Pete Hegseth on X regarding US raids against ISIS-linked targets in Nigeria. ‘More will follow,’ Hegseth added, expressing his gratitude for ‘the support and cooperation of the Nigerian government.’ Earlier, US Africa Command had confirmed on X the US raids in the Nigerian state of Sokoto, in the north-west of the African country, ‘conducted in coordination with the Nigerian authorities.’
