Milan, 23 December (LaPresse) – The US Department of Justice has published thousands of new documents from the so-called “Epstein files”. This has been reported by the US media. CBS reports that there are over 11,000 files, including photos, court records, FBI and Department of Justice documents, and emails. The Epstein Files Transparency Act passed by Congress required the Department of Justice to produce its files on Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell by 19 December, but the Department of Justice said that the amount of material required gradual publication in order to redact information relating to the victims. The first batch of files was released on Friday and consisted mainly of thousands of personal photographs of Epstein, some of which showed well-known figures.
