Milan, 15 Dec. (LaPresse) – A legally binding document on Ukraine’s non-accession to NATO is the cornerstone of negotiations to resolve the Ukrainian issue. This was stated by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, according to reports by the Russian news agency Tass. “Of course, this issue is fundamental and deserves special attention compared to others. This is precisely the meaning of the negotiation process, and I would like to emphasise once again that we do not intend to conduct it in a dramatic manner,” Peskov said, responding to a question about who Russia expects to provide legally binding guarantees regarding Ukraine’s non-membership in NATO.
